FRED HINES

FRED M. HINES, was a Maine resident for most of his life. Hines resided in Kennebunkport, Maine for more than 30 years and his galleries in Kennebunkport and along Route 1 housed his oil paintings. He specialized in ocean scenes.

Hines had a means of breathing life into his artwork. The manner in which he was able to have the sea flow out from the canvas and envelope the viewer was at times mesmerizing. Up until his death he was one of Maine's most talented and sought after artists.
