Jeffersonville Art Jam 2022

 The Visions of Vermont Fine Art Galleries and the Cambridge Arts Council welcomes another year of artists, art shows, food, and live music.  The Northern Vermont Artists Association 91st Annual June Juried Show in the Sugarhouse Gallery, Artists Tents,  and events throughout town.  Sunday June 5, Saturday June 25th and all of 4th of July Weekend.

Saturday, April 22, 2017 Vermont Covered Bridges Society Spring Annual Meeting in the Sugarhouse Gallery.

 The Annual Spring Meeting of the Vermont Covered Bridge Society will be held at the Visions of Vermont Art Gallery, 100 Main St. in Jeffersonville, Vermont on Saturday,  April 22, 2017. Kyle Obenauer, VTrans Historic Preservation Specialist and Brennan Gauthier, VTrans Archaeologist, will present an overview of the Scott Bridge rehabilitation, including requirements and challenges of working on the historic structure. His presentation will be followed by a discussion of a recent site visit to the Clarendon home of noted covered bridge builder Nichols Powers including an introduction to some of Vermont’s earliest travel corridors and their evolution through the turn of the twentieth century.The doors will be open to the Sugarhouse Gallery at 9:00 a.m. for set-up and socializing. Coffee and donuts will be served. The Business meeting will begin at 9:30 a.m. The presentations will begin at 10.
The public is invited!            

July  31 thru  September 7th, 2016 - Summer Season in the Sugarhouse Gallery

Susan Bull Riley - one person  exhibit

Fine Artist, Susan Bull Riley,  draws her inspiration from plants, birds,  and landscapes

around her in central Vermont. More details to follow. Her paintings  "The Green  Depths of Summer" won "peoples choice award" in  the NVAA June Juries Show.

The Vermont Covered Bridge Society  16th Annual Meeting 

Keynote speaker was Laura Trieschmann, Vermont's State Historic Preservation Officer.The Sugarhouse gallery displayed Eric Tobin's artwork of covered bridges in the region. Eric is recognized as "artist extrorinaire" for his valuable contributions to the Vermont Covered Bridge Society and his  noted sensitive treatment of Vermont landscapes and many paintings of covered bridges. For years Eric has been preserving these iconic Vermont images. Prints of his covered bridge paintings will be for sale ongoing in the Carriage House Tobin Gallery to support the The Vermont Covered Bridge Society which preserves the structures and  the heritage of VT covered bridges.

Featuring Eric Tobin's  local covered bridges paintings & Bill Salmon, a seventh-generation Vermonter and metal artist designs and handcrafts FOREVER FLOWERS.
